7b) Who exhibited true leadership/real heroic behaviour

The person that I chose that showed true Leadership and real heroic behaviour was Annabel Hancock. First of all, I would like to say that I have never seen a female athlete to do what she did or play like she plays. Annabel was supposed to be the best athlete and go to the WNBA before her injury to her acl. After tearing her acl twice, she came back after intense physio, a lot of determination, and perserverance. I can say that most athletes wouldn't even think about playing or putting forth the effort after tearing their acl twice, like Bel did. Most people thought she wouldnt be able to get her game back but those people thought wrong. When I played with her there wasn't one moment in practice or a game that she didnt show leadership or determination. Her game plan was to win and thats what she took with her everywhere she went. It was my pleasure to play with her and learn so much from her. She is my hero, my Idol and I hope one day I can be as determined awesome as she is. rock on.
