Self Reflection

This semester went well. I think our class took the events that were thrown at us and took them to a whole nother level. We all wokred together, threw in great ideas, and completed the taks t0 our full potential. With challenge day, stair climb, bringing back the pep rally, idols, and coffee house I think that was excellent. I also think that those things wouldn't have happened if we didn't have this class. This was a great year!!! I also feel our school has been more spirited when it comes to events and more dance related( I would like to personally thank Melissa Webb for this). I just think our whole leadership class did a great job this year and I couldn't think of a better group that could've made it better. We should put our picture on the wall and say we were the first grade 12 leadership class. I would say the the 10 days of festive fun could've been a bit more organized but over all it went well.
Personally, I feel like my job was to observe and help where I can. I didn't do a whole lot this semester but I helped where I could. I feel like a movie analyst or something. I think next time I might try and run some events rather then being in the behind the scenes. I would give myself and 80%. It was a good semester. it has been fun and I am gonna miss it.

I think this course was a great idea!! I think that we should see how dependent we were on it this semester by comparing it to the next semester when we don't have it. I also think for next year it should be a full year course. Parliament students should be in it, as well as teacher nominations. Teachers should nominate students who they think would make a contribution to the class or would make a contribution to the school. I also think that there should be students who have to write letters to the teacher advisors in order to be able to get into the class. The ideal situation would be to have one class for a full year. They could count it as there extra spare. Take 7 courses and that way it wouldn't be as demanding on there course load. I think this year went really well and it was a great success. I felt like our class was very teamwork based and we all worked well at completing things that needed to be completed. I wouldn't change anything. Leadership for life yo.

I think she got this right. Our society success is based on what we have or what we want and in order to get those things we need money. If we don't have the expensive things then we are not happy. I think Happiness should be what you want, not refering to the materialistic items, but the actual things you want to get out of life. The desire to achieve what you want to Achieve and how badly you want to get these things for yourself. For me, my happiness will be weighed based on the people that are in my life, having a family, and to achieve my dreams of playing soccer for a university, to find a job that is based on what I love, and to travel. It's not about achieving them or not achieving them that would determine my happiness, it will be the journey to get there. Well said Charissa .

#28 Ken Robinson

This guy is probably one of the smartest guys to ever hit this earth. I believe in everything he is saying.
First- Our school system hasn't changed in a long time. I think that it is time to change it. The school system is getting boring and old and should change. I think he was right when he said that everyone is smart in their own way and they shouldn't be marked on a system where they can't show how smart they really are. His goal is to make everyone believe in there own creativity and intelligence so they can do well.
second- If this change was to happen it would need to affect all of the school systems. Post secondary, secondary and public schools. It would need to have a team effort so everyone is on the same page.
I believe that this would make a more intelligent world if we could show everyones intelligence and creativity rather then just the people that are good at playing the game.

#27 Tebowmania

Tim Tebow is being a leader for his team and everyone else thatwatches him. He has so many followers and people that actually believe in the Tebowing. I can't say if I believe in his connection with God or not but if that's what he believes then he should stick to it. I am also shocked at the amount of people that believe that it is the work of God. I didn't think that many people had that faith anymore. I do think that he is a great leader. He is someone that didn't change who he was based on the stereotypes of what he did in his life. He never lost sight of himself and what he thought was the right thing. Happy Tebowing.
